- MELT THE CHOCOLATE
Line 1kg loaf tin with cling film. Melt the chocolate in a bowl set over a pan of simmering water, then add the butter and stir until smooth. Remove from the heat and let it cool. Or microwave for 2 mins on high , then stir in the butter until smooth. - WHIP THE CREAM
Whisk the whipping cream until thick. Gradually stir into the cooled chocolate. - LAYER IN THE TIN
Dip a few of the biscuits in the sherry then lay them in the tin, top with a layer of chocolate and then repeat the layers finishing with a layer of biscuits on top. Dip the biscuits in the sherry as you use them so they dont get too wet and disintegrate. Cover the tin with foil. place a weight on top and put in the fridge and leave for at least 4 hours or overnight.

mySupermarket - The comparison site that saves you money at your supermarket
This is the latest supermarket comparsion site. Unlike others just list out the offer from different supermaket, this site does provide you very the best picture of the products, also very focus on the online shopping facility.
I doubt that, like Tesco offer its own "check the price" service, and this site does not give out detailed offers, how good is their service?
Anyway, the product pictures is very great that for other usage.
Free Secure Online Storage?Xdrive
Far back to many many years ago, I am enjoying using this xdrive service, and all of sudden, it becames to charge us money. I had to drop it.

PayPerPost :: Get Paid for Blogging, Blog Advertising, Advertise on Blogs
How important of blog nowadays?
Very important, because numbers of the blog would actually increase the brand awareness, particular when people search on Google.
Therefore, some brand owerners make the treats, and the agency helps them as well. Like this company links all the parties together, ask the blogger to write things for the brand, obviously it is about good thing.
It reminds me that my master project, product placement.
Great Media company
First thing come up to my mind was I need to buy some of Talkback's share, if it is listed in London market.
However, it is owned by another media company "

Then I went to see FremantleMedia, it own by RTLGroup, a very big media company in Europe, to my surprise, it owned by a very famous multi-media company Bertelsmann.
And Bertelsmann is not listed in London, it is a German company!
How complex it is!

Greek Oliver oil dressing
However, the veg are very dry, I need some dressing. Usually, I will add some vinger, but this time I have something from marks and spencer. That's Greek olive oil dressing with lemon juice & mint.
They coming from:
sunflower oil, white wine vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, dijon mustard, garlic, salt, oregano, mint, parsley, cracked black pepper.
Then I bought some dijon mustard from Tesco. I think I can make my own dressing by using some garlic, lemon juice, and oliver oil.
Good Luck

share dealing
I think, being a shareholder, company should more or less give away some sweet to their investors(people put their money into their company business).
I found those two website is very helpful

When I was reading this, I found one good share "British Airway", although it had been hit since 9/11 and recently terror plot. However, and surprisely, its share grew more than the index.

Also, if you hold 200 share by Nov each year, they will send you five vouchers. Each vouchers enable you 10% discount off the published (includes "world offer") price for the following year.

Go to work by Thames - River Commuting
River commuting by Julia Buckley, Tuesday 5 September 2006 16:00
Fed up with spending half an hour or so each day in a packed and stuffy Tube carriage with your nose inches from someone’s armpit? Then commuting by boat could be the thing for you.
The craft that ply the Thames are no Greek island-hopping rust-buckets. Instead, you travel to work courtesy of a flotilla of privately owned, designer-draped pleasure boats with names such as Hurricane, Sun, Moon and The Viscount ? boats so swish that people hire them by the hour.
They’re not slow either ? a journey from the Savoy Pier (between Temple and Embankment) to Canary Wharf takes 23 minutes in Thames Clippers’ 32mph flagship, Hurricane, while the same route via the Underground takes 19 minutes.
And who wouldn’t sacrifice four minutes for the privilege of arriving in a machine such as Hurricane, adorned with Damien Hirst decoration? It runs from central London to Canary Wharf and on to Woolwich on weekday evenings at peak hours.
During busy Thames Clipper periods, you’ll be met by the Sun and Moon clippers. At 32 metres long, they are the big daddies of the fleet, and capable of carrying 138 passengers. They run from the Savoy Pier to Canary Wharf and Woolwich.
Putney-dwellers can try Thames Executive Charters’ John Harriot, a 24-seater with a mahogany-lined saloon which runs from Putney to Blackfriars via Chelsea Harbour, Cadogan Pier and Embankment. Two other TEC boats ply the Putney route.
With Thames Clippers claiming on-time stats of 98 per cent, you have to ask: “What’s the catch?” The only restrictions are route ? if you don’t live on the river, it won’t help you ? and price. Boats don’t come under the Oyster umbrella ? although being an Oyster-holder gets you a one-third discount ? and a commute from the Savoy Pier to Canary Wharf with Thames Clippers costs ?4.85 return (?7.30 without a travelcard).
TEC has Putney-Blackfriars tickets for ?11 standard return, and Chelsea to Embankment is ?8 return.
Then there is the frequency of service ? Thames Clippers runs boats every 30 minutes (every 15 minutes between 8.30 and 9.30am) and TEC services range from 15 to 45 minutes apart.
Add the fact that you could be chugging a cappuccino on your morning journey and a beer on your return, and you quickly realise why river commuting is increasing by 50 per cent year on year.
Fast facts
More than 700,000 Londoners a year commute by boat with Thames Clippers and Thames Executive Charters ? companies working for Transport for London
Passengers can take bikes on board or leave them in cycle racks at most piers
At every pier, a tracking system tells you when the next boat is due
Stringent passenger limits mean that you might not be allowed on if boats are full, but the boat companies insist this is a rare occurrence
All boats guarantee you a seat and all boats have toilets
River commuters have been increasing by 40-50 per cent year on year. In the wake of the 7/7 bombings, they went up by 80 per cent

我们要坚决抵制iTune 和iPod
10 reasons why I’ll swap my iPod for a Zune
I was given an iPod as a birthday gift a couple of years ago. Immediately, I fell in love with it, and it revolutionised my listening habits. It looks good, it is easy to use, and my particular model stored 5,000 songs, about half of my CD-based music collection.
But my love affair quickly turned sour. Over time, I have experienced various problems with the iPod and iTunes, some of which are listed after the jump.
My iPod is theoretically full (well, it would be, had it not refused to upload 40% of my digital music catalogue), meaning that I need a new one with more storage space, but because of these issues I’m going to wait for Microsoft’s ‘Zune’. I don’t expect MS to fix everything, but I just can’t commit to investing in another overhyped, underperforming device from Apple, beautiful as they are.
So here are my top 10 issues with iPod and iTunes:
1. iTunes = TOO EXPENSIVE. You pay over the odds for albums that often cost way less on Amazon. So if you’re prepared to wait for a CD to arrive then do so, because you get some added extras like packaging and artwork, and hey, it’s a hard copy! Ok, iTunes is great when you just want one or two tunes, but you end up buying full albums. One Cocteau Twins ‘box set’ was being sold on iTunes for twice the price of the much nicer hard copy - ?35 vs ?18. Outrage!
2. iTunes = TOO SINGLE-MINDED. Variable pricing is needed, especially for the indie labels and the vintage material. Blame the greedhead record execs for this. I can’t come to terms with buying a new tune for the same sort of money that I pay for something that’s already made millions in profit for these swine. Or that the really weird only-me-and-three-others-will-buy-it-this-year song costs the same as some guff from Coldplay. But no, some obscure track costs the same as a new, uberpopular, 15-weeks-at-number-1 hit single.
3. iTunes = UNFORGIVING. It gives you the songs once, and no more, so you have to remember to make backups. You can’t download them again! And yes, I'm bitter, I forgot (procrastinated / relied on my iPod for backup). I just didn’t get to this in time and my rubbish Dell laptop died some months ago, leaving me 40% stuffed (see 6. for calculations). Like I said, buying a CD gives you a hard copy to begin with, so why bother with iTunes? iTunes suggests that you always backup downloads. Presumably you need to buy blank CDs to create ‘hard’ backups. Ridiculous, when you can just buy the CD to begin with, for less money.
4. iTunes = HORRIBLE USER EXPERIENCE. But it’s APPLE! Apple wins design awards! Jonathan Ives! Righty-ho. Well here it is: iTunes sucks, from a usability perspective. I may save my bitchin’ for a whole new post ? that’s how sucky it is. Clunky, heavy, image rich, slow, imprecise, poor search functionality, no watchlist. Why can’t I search by label? Why can’t I properly personalise iTunes? How come it doesn’t seem to remember which albums I have bought, when recommending me new material? I think Apple has missed a trick in this area.
5. iPod = CRASH. It’s gonna happen, happens all the time. I’ve stopped shuffling ‘All Songs’, because, like a blind alcoholic driving a bus with faulty brakes, that’s a guaranteed crash-in-waiting. Sometimes it will stick on one song, keep you waiting, then move to another, repeat several times, then play the opening of a song before giving up entirely. This forces you to perform a hard reset. Sometimes, a hard reset will put the iPod in a coma for days, before you see a miraculous recovery, like some kind of gift from the iPod Gods. And you, poor iPod user, remain none the wiser. The brave can opt for a factory reset, but then you need to re-upload all of your songs. Pain! Woe! Craaaash!
6. iPod = FALSE DAWN. Believe me, if you’re a music fan who hasn’t made the switch to digital music players then you don’t know what you’re missing. You will be amazed at how an iPod changes your listening behaviour. But then, it will Let You Down, as technology often does. Sometimes you are told that you MUST update your iPod, even if it is working perfectly, and sometimes this course of action results in Big Problems. Technology is never simple, is it? Figuring out how to make iTunes and iPods work when things go awry is not straightforward. I couldn’t get mine to speak to one another for a number of annoying weeks. When it finally did start talking it only uploaded about 60% of my music catalogue. And then my Dell laptop stopped working, so now I’ve lost 40% of my digital music collection.
7. iPod = UNETHICAL? Apple has been on the receiving end of accusations about using sweatshops in
8. iTunes = PROPRIETARY FILE FORMAT. A ghastly, lock-in strategy from Apple, which doesn’t realise that people don’t like this sort of thing. It will be interesting to see what Microsoft’s Zune offers, in terms of acceptable file formats. We do know that it is “planning to let you download for free any songs you've already bought from the iTunes Music Store”.
9. iPods = QUALITY ISSUES? Not according to VP of iPod Marketing Greg Joswiak, who says the iPod has a 5% first-year failure rate, compared with 30% for many mobile devices. But there have been many reports of breakages, of battery failures, of scratchy surfaces. And hey, 5% of the
10. iPod = NOT ZUNE! Yup, MS is going mano e mano with Apple, which currently dominates the digital music space with about 80% market share. This is almost certainly going to fall with the release of Zune, which we also expect will enlarge the overall market. Don’t bet against Microsoft, not when it is this serious. It is planning to pour hundreds of millions of dollars into the Zune rollout, and has a 5-year strategic plan. Serious Commitment. Look at how well MS has done in establishing the Xbox as a competitor to Sony’s PS2. At the time, many thought launching a console was folly. I’m highly likely to give Zune a whirl when it is launched. Especially if it is Wi-Fi-enabled. And, of course, for the 9 above reasons…

Freedom of access to information on the Internet is a topic that we believe is of great interest and importance to Inside AdSense readers. Our CEO Eric Schmidt has written a letter to you, our publishers, on the subject of "net neutrality" -- read below for the full text:
Dear AdSense Publisher,
There's a debate heating up in
Sometime in the next few days, the House of Representatives is going to vote on a bill that would fundamentally alter the Internet. That bill would give the big phone and cable companies the power to choose what you will be able to see and do on the Internet.
Today the Internet is an information highway where anybody no matter how large or small, how traditional or unconventional has equal access to everyone else. On the Internet, a business doesn't need the network's permission to communicate with a customer or deploy an innovative new service. But the phone and cable monopolies, who control almost all broadband Internet access, want the power to choose who gets onto the high-speed lanes and whose content gets seen first and fastest. They want to build tollbooths to block the on-ramps for those whom they don't want to compete with and who can't pay this new Internet tax. Money and monopoly, not ideas and independence, will be the currency of their Internet.
Under the proposed "pay-to-play" system, small- and medium-sized businesses will be placed at an automatic disadvantage to their larger competitors. Those who cannot afford the new Internet tax or who want to compete directly with the phone and cable companies will be marginalized by slower Internet access that will inevitably make their sites less accessible, and therefore less appealing.
Creativity, innovation and a free and open marketplace are all at stake in this fight. Imagine an Internet in which your access to customers is constrained by your ability to cut a deal with the carriers. Please call your representative in Congress at 202-224-3121. For more information on the issue, and more ways to make your voice be heard, visit www.ItsOurNet.org.
Thank you for your time, your concern and your support.
Eric Schmidt
CEO of Google Inc.

1.Had you tried some mortgage brokers, because they can search more wider markets than your own bank. Brokers have two types, one is fee charge, and the other is fee free. try this one if you wish, http://www.lcplc.co.uk they are fee free, and offer search of whole market.
2. I am not sure whether you get the citizenship or not, if not, just bear in mind that some leanders do not lend money to WP holder or not citizenship, but some yes.
3. You can also go to this site to check the history and the planning permission of any house you want to check, only 2pounds per search, worth. They will give you the value of the last transcation, might be good when you offer back the price.

Say it with flowers, but only if it won't cost you the EarthBy Valerie Elliott, Countryside Editor
NI_MPU('middle');
AS THE nation prepares to fork out millions of pounds on flowers for Valentines Day, consumers are being asked to think hard about what part of the world the blooms in their bouquet come from.
Many shoppers are already conscious of food miles when it comes to buying strawberries from Florida during the winter, but campaigners say that people do not think about the distances involved and the effect on the environment in bringing blooms to Britain. Yet millions of roses and carnations arrive each year from Colombia, a distance of more than 5,000 miles, and Kenya (more than 4,000 miles), which are then packed with green leaves from Costa Rica or Israel.
Millions of chrysanthemums, tulips, freesias and irises also come from the Netherlands only 221 miles away, but still too far for campaigners who want them to be grown in Britain. They also want compulsory country-of-origin labelling on mixed bouquets and bunches.
The market for cut flowers and bedding plants is worth 拢1.5 billion a year in Britain 拢40 million for Valentines Day alone an increase of one third since 2000. This is thanks largely to supermarkets, which have made flowers an affordable luxury.
Norman Baker, environmental spokesman for the Liberal Democrats, has begun to draw attention to the perils of flower miles after learning from official statistics that from 2001-04 the volume of cut flowers from Kenya alone had increased from 10,000 tonnes to nearly 17,000 tonnes. In 2004 importing Kenyan flowers produced more than 30,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide.
Similar figures for every country have not been collated by the Government or the horticultural industry. But the impact of flower miles on climate change is thought to be huge.
Mr Baker said: When people buy flowers they dont think they might be contributing to carbon dioxide emissions. In a free market we cant stop the flowers coming in, but there should be labelling of flowers with the country of origin and a role in educating the public to recognise the problems and to respond to it. I want consumers to choose flowers that cause minimum damage to the environment.
Mr Baker also called for growers in Britain to supply more flowers to the domestic market.
Jim Floor, managing director of World Flowers of Hook and Basingstoke, which makes up a million mixed bouquets per week for the main supermarkets, said that costs were too high for growers. Energy costs for growers have trebled in the past year and we are having to spend three times as much on gas and electricity for lighting as our rivals in the Netherlands, where the industry is subsidised.
The campaign to persuade consumers to think flower miles has already won the backing of Friends of the Earth. Vicki Hird, a senior campaigner for the organisation, said: The growth of cut flowers from abroad is a seriously worrying trend, and there is just too much at stake in terms of climate change and other environmental problems to allow it to continue to grow.
We would be in favour of country-of-origin labelling on flowers and a proper costing of the environmental impacts. The Government should step in because it is getting out of control.
The British Retail Consortium, which represents leading supermarkets, was also keen to play a part in highlighting the issue of flower miles. A spokeswoman said that while there was no legal requirement to do so many companies were already putting labels on flowers. If there was sufficient demand from some customers for more detailed information, retailers would consider this.
